Security practices

Protect the information the system actually needs.

Study Systems uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed for the services and information involved. We begin by limiting collection, keeping sensitive data out of general channels, and choosing established providers for specialized functions such as payments.

Our launch security approach

Our launch security approach

Minimize collection

General forms ask only for information needed to understand and route a request. Visitors should not send passwords, card details, government identifiers, detailed education records, or health information through those forms.

Separate payment data

When payments are enabled, card information is collected through Stripe-hosted or Stripe-provided payment components. Study Systems does not store full payment-card numbers on its servers.

Protect access and transmission

The production site uses HTTPS, controlled administrative access, server-side validation, rate limits, security headers, dependency review, and secret-management practices appropriate to the deployed system.

Limit logs and analytics

Names, email addresses, message text, transcripts, and payment details are not sent to website analytics. Operational logs record what is needed to diagnose events without copying full inquiry content by default.

Review providers

Hosting, email, payment, analytics, and other providers are selected and configured with the nature of the information in mind. Their role is reflected in the Privacy Policy where required.

Prepare for incidents

Study Systems maintains a documented process for triage, containment, investigation, recovery, and legally required notifications appropriate to its systems and services.

Honest limits

Report a security concern

Use the security route on the contact form with a clear description and the affected URL or service. Do not include exploit payloads containing real personal information. A dedicated vulnerability-disclosure process will be published only when the company can operate it reliably.
